藝術電車開幕禮
「劃•界」藝術電車開幕禮於二零零九年三月七日下午三時舉行，主禮嘉賓包括中西區區議會中西區綠化及美化工作小組主席陳財喜議員、香港公共藝術董事會主席包陪麗女士、以及香港藝術中心總幹事林淑儀女士。開幕禮後的「電車時光」，一眾嘉賓登上藝術電車， 細聽由《月台》編委及現職於嶺南大學人文學科研究中心的鄭政恆先生分享有關電車的新詩，藝術家謝明莊亦一一闡釋他的創作理念，講述中西區的地圖及當中並列的新舊建築物如何影響他的創作。而嘉賓與市民也在乘坐電車遊歷中西區的同時，分享他們乘坐藝術電車時的感受和當中引發的聯想。 |

Art Tram Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony of the “Art˙Marking˙Boundaries” Art Tram was held at 3pm on 7 March, 2009, officiated by Mr. Chan Choi Hi, Chairman of the Working Group on Greening and Beautification Works in the Central and Western District Council, Mrs. Cissy Pao Watari, BBS, Chairman of PAHK Board of Councillors, and Ms. Connie Lam, Executive Director of HKAC. After the opening ceremony, Mr. Matthew Cheng, Editorial Committee of Platform Magazine, and Research Assistant at the Centre for Humanities Research, Lingnan University, shared some poems with us about the tram during the “Happy Tram Hour”. The artist Tse Ming Chong also shared his inspiration of this artwork on the tram through maps and the old and new buildings in the Central and Western District. Guests and participants shared their feelings and the imagination on taking the Art Tram, while appreciating the beautiful sceneries of the Central and Western District. |

經過兩個多月的訪問和實地考察，藝術家謝明莊與學生創作團隊所設計的藝術品終於面世！藝術品將會展現於一輛電車車身上，歡迎市民遠距離欣賞、近距離細看、盡情乘搭……親身體驗公共藝術遊走於社區的樂趣！

Here comes the Art Tram!
After two months of interviews and site visits, the artwork by Tse Ming Chong, the artist, and his Creative Team has been finally made! It will be displaying on the exterior of a tram, letting the public appreciate it from different angles and distances. Take a ride with the Art Tram and experience the joy of public art in the community!

文化歷史電車遊
石塘咀的名字由何而來？中環街市遷移了多少次？著名收藏家及歷史研究專家鄭寶鴻先生將帶領參加者行走石塘咀及中環一帶，體驗香港舊風貌，亦會登上電車一覽中西區沿途風光，了解各地的掌故及趣事，發掘那裡的歷史及生活點滴。

Cultural and Heritage Tram Tour
Where did the name of Shek Tong Tsui originate? How many times had the Central Market been relocated? Mr. CHENG Po Hung, the Veteran collector and expert on Hong Kong history, will lead the participants to stroll along the area around Shek Tong Tsui and Central, to experience the early sceneries of Hong Kong. He will also take the tram with the participants, letting them discover different cultural and historical features in the Central and Western District.
