Tang Ying Chi, Stella was born in Hong Kong in 1956. She received a Bachelor's degree in Arts from the Department of Fine Arts of The Goldsmiths College, University of London in 1989. She is now the lecturer (Fine Arts) of The Art School of Hong Kong Arts Centre. Her exhibition include "Land, Power and Love" (Hong Kong Arts Centre, 1993); "Memory and Identity" (Hong Kong Arts Centre, 1994) and "City in Red - Works of Tang Ying Chi" (Fringe Club, Hong Kong, 1998).
