Ha Bik Chuen was born in Xinhui, Guangdong in 1952, and has been a member of the Chinese Contemporary Artists' Guild since 1960 and the Hong Kong Visual Arts Society since 1987. He participated in various exhibitions, including "Photographs Thinking of Sculpture" (Hong Kong Arts Centre, 1981); "Hong Kong Artists Series: Ha Bik Chuen" (Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1992) and "Ha Bik Chuen - Sentient Beings: Solo Exhibition of Relief Prints" (China Oil Painting Gallery, Hong Kong, 1997).
