The hitman never kills proactively. Nor does he kill for money. Maybe he simply likes doing it. Maybe he is seeking revenge for his master. This time, he proactively kills a trap-setter. The reason doesn’t matter. What matters is what he wants to tell the trap-setter: the bullet you shot always hits you back!
2. Passing Rain
Hehaaa Production Limited/2017/HK/No Dialogue/ 6’05’’
After a small turn of fate, a girl studying in the covered playground started to pay attention to a boy. After a sudden shower of rain, they started to get closer.
3. The Unreal City
IDE Production Company Limited/2017/HK/In Cantonese with Chinese and English Subtitles/ 5’24’’
In the 1960s, there was a little girl who was born in a poor family in the Kowloon Walled City. That girl was Xiao Jing and she had a bad habit. Her imagination always magnified her fear. Every time she came across the things she feared, Xiao Jing would use her doll as a shield and was never willing to face them.
One day, her bad habit put herself in danger, but her shield was not around and there was nowhere to hide. Eventually, she came up with the courage to face the fear and get out of the trouble.
4. Rubbish Robot
Infinity Digital Creation Limited/2017/HK/No Dialogue/ 4’41’’
Corn and his friend Master are made of trash. Although they don’t look pretty, they always enjoy their lives. Deep down, Corn is in love with a girl, the Pretty Robot girl, and his dream is to take a photo with his goddess. But in reality, there are always comparisons and competitions. His goddess is always surrounded by lots of handsome robots.
When he is disappointed, Corn finds his “chance”, to become more attractive with an upgrade of his body. He puts a lot of effort in improving himself and with his friend’s support, he achieves his goal at the end, but not without an unexpected twist.
The animation highlights the importance of working towards your goal and friendship.
5. DeerAmelie and the Meow Stone
DIXIC Limited /2017/HK/No Dialogue / 5’01’’
How much courage and sacrifice does it take to save an abandoned, dying soul?
Covered by long and dirty black hair, Stone is traumatised emotionally and becomes numb towards its surroundings. Only love can restore its broken soul.
The lively Deer and clever, pretty Amelie are best friends with each other. They love to help each other and live happily in the forest. When they are foraging fruit one day, they bump into Stone. Can they heal Stone's broken soul?
6. Human Conservation Plan
Zoooops Studio/ 2017/ HK/In Cantonese with Chinese and English Subtitles/ 3’47’’
This animation short employs interesting metaphors and an exaggerated irony to bring out a problem that even little girls know what the right thing to do is. It reflects on human's attitude and cruel acts towards animals. Although we are not the direct abusers, we must beware that acquiescence to the behaviour of others is also a form of abuse. How would you choose?
ACTSFX STUDIO CO/ 2017/ HK/No Dialogue/ 3’33’’
Bored at work? Stressed at work? Working day and night? Do you really enjoy working?

One day, Ching chooses to embrace his work with a different attitude, enjoy himself at work and finally becomes a happy “Clean Man”. Do you wanna try?

Big Bang Creation Limited/ 2017/HK/ No Dialogue/ 4’16’’
A herd of sheep admires the farm owner and longs to receive an honourable medal. One day, the owner finally awards the gold medal to the faithful elder sheep, whose followers are very excited. However, it is only the beginning of a tragedy.
Can the sheep escape from the owner’s well-designed traps?
