The perfect family of Becca and Howie was broken eight months ago by a traffic accident that took the life of their four-year-old child. The couple’s attempts to recover from this emotional wound, however, creates an even wider rift. Becca’s mother Nat tries her best to help them recover from the pain, but the situation is further aggravated when Becca’s outlandish but kind sister Izzy announces her unplanned pregnancy. Only with the arrival of Jason, the youth who killed their son, does a new turn of events occur.
This poignant story of David Lindsay-Abaire portraits a natural state of daily life, seasoned with unexpected surprises and humorous conversations, it touches the very bottom of every audience’s heart. The performance of Louisa So and Poon Chan Leung, as Becca and Howie, together with the company’s compelling acting team will have a long lasting bearing upon your souls by their subtle yet splendid interpretation.
