As always, this year’s finalist animations are of a high standard and show a wide array of technical styles and imaginative accomplishments. In the highly competitive Asian New Force Category, short films and videos from Asian regions enter the final tens with great panache. Final tens include first-time finalists from Bhutan and Lebanon, and works from the Philippines, South Korea, Iraq, Japan, etc. The winning works are the best of the best.
