Bicycle Film Festival (Hong Kong Stop): Cyclists without Borders

Date & Time:

13/01/2013  7:00 pm Start

Cycling is universal.  In Latvia, in the temperature of -20 degrees, a bunch of cycling fans sneak in an abandoned factory and pursue their cycling fun.  On the other hand, in the sizzling heat of Ghana, a young man wins it all – money, fame and freedom – with his superb cycling skills.  Over there in Spain is the inspiring story of a one-legged, one-armed Spaniard training hard for nothing but his love for track cycling; over here in Scotland the wholesome activity of cycling is turned into two desperate unhitched women’s means to get guys.  The two fake injuries from a bicycle accident, lying on the ground waiting for Mr. Right to come to their rescue. You don’t even believe that the Cyclist of the Impossible rides on Europe’s steepest mountain roads while playing different musical instrument.
