Job Title Volunteer (Art Learning)
Job Description

Service Period:

  • 2 - 3 days (or more) per week during March – April 2018 (Renewal of appointment is to be determined by work performance and subject to mutual agreement)
  • Working time: 11am – 6pm (including 1 hour meal break)

Duties:

  • Event support
  • Administration support such as logistics coordination, documents preparation etc
  • Assist Development Director(Art Learning)
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Interest in art and culture, relevant experience in art-related field will be an advantage
  • Undergraduate students and public who gained tertiary education in any discipline are welcomed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Proactive and have strong sense of responsibility

Daily Allowance will be provided.

Job Title Senior Administrative Officer (Registry) (Ref: SAOR)
Job Description

Job Duties:

  • To provide administrative support to the Management Office of the School;
  • To provide secretarial service to various committees and meetings of the School;
  • To assist in exercises relating to quality assurance and accreditation;
  • To handle student and alumni affairs concerning scholarship and sponsorship;
  • To prepare for statistic reports on student-related figures;
  • To provide operation support to School functions and events and
  • To administer School projects of artistic and / or academic nature whenever appropriate


Requirements:

  • Degree Holder with preferably 5 years of working experience (candidates with lesser experience may be considered for the position of Administrative Officer)
  • Working experience in the field of art or education and with keen interest in art and writing would definitely be an advantage
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in PC operation
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, independent and have strong sense of responsibility


The appointment is on one-year term, and is to be renewed subject to mutual agreements and operational needs.

Job Description

香港藝術學院現正誠聘下列職位:


入職要求:

  • 中學程度: 香港中學會考(五科合格優先考慮);或香港中學文憑考試(中國語文及英國語文科達二級優先考慮);或香港高級程度會考(中國語文及英國語文科合格優先考慮)。
  • 一年以上工作經驗。
  • 成熟、進取、有責任心、具合作精神。
  • 能操簡單英語 (說話及書寫,以便與外藉老師溝通)。


工作範疇:

  • 須於學院不同校舍工作 (以柴灣筲箕灣區為主)。
  • 須輪班工作(視乎學院於夜間的校舍運作或課程安排,須於晚上 即7時至11時,及週末與週日工作)
  • 為學院預備課堂及各項活動等的器材及場地設置 ,包括設置及收拾枱凳與器材。
  • 負責處理學生的器材借還、檢查學院的各種器材及設施,包括相機、攝錄機及投影機等。
  • 為學院各部門提供運作上的支援,包括不同校舍間之文件交送、重型器材運送、校舍內一般的傢俱或器材維修等。
  • 處理學生對器材或場地設施的查詢及少量院務文書工作。


待遇:

  • 應徵者如獲錄用,本學院將以一年合約方式聘用。合約期滿,視乎服務需要和工作表現,可續新約。

2. Handle customer enquiries and provide information for visitors
3. Maintain smooth daily operation of the shop
4. Perform sales transaction and inventory management


Requirements:

  1. Holder of HKDSE or above with relevant working experience in customer service, previous experience in working as lobby receptionist, retail shop or cashier is a definite advantage
  2. Outgoing, tactful, and have a friendly and helpful personality
  3. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and CWP
  4. Ability to work independently, flexibly and under pressure
  5. Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  6. Need to work on weekends and public holidays, shift duty may be required.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Provide ushering and front of house service in theatres, assist in house rules and regulations enforcement.
2. Perform effective communication with patrons, guests and venue hirers.
3. Assist in crowd control to ensure smooth running of events and activities.
4. Handle enquiries and provide high standard of customer services for venue visitors
5. Assist in facilities management for maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all venue users.
6. Update signage / poster/ publicity material for the public in the premises.
7. Assist with other functions as instructed by Duty Manager.


Requirements:

1. Holder of HKDSE or above with relevant experience in customer services is an advantage.
2. Pleasant, energetic, extrovert and willing to help customers.
3. Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
4. Required to work on weekdays’ evenings as well as in weekends and public holidays.
