Job Title Programme Officer (Audience Development) (Ref No: PO-AD)
Job Description

Responsibilities                                                                                                                

To assist in the Audience Development under Programming Department by –

  1. Work closely with the Assistant Programme Manager in the implementation of the art education and outreach projects;
  2. Support the research and facilitate the workflow between various programming teams;
  3. Consolidate and prepare regular update on finding from audience survey;
  4. Coordinate with artists, vendors and service provider in project delivery;
  5. Maintain the HKAC Volunteer Docent Scheme by organizing events and maintaining the communication channels
  6. Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by the Programme Manager


Requirements                                                                                                         

  1. Tertiary education in Arts/Education/Social Studies is preferable
  2. Experience in Data Analysis and interest in people, society is a factor to consider
  3. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Photoshop
  5. Detail-oriented, good interpersonal and presentation skills
  6. Self-motivated and willing to work flexible hours


Terms of Appointment:

The appointment will be on a 6 months contract upon job offer.

Job Title Administrative Officer (Communication & Development) (Ref: AOCD)
Job Description Job Duties:
  • Monitor and co-ordinate the content management of the School’s online channels / social media platforms including the School’s website, FB, IG and Youtube page
  • Monitor and co-ordinate the production of the School’s publications and marketing collaterals
  • Assist in organizing the School’s graduation exhibitions at BA / HD level and other School events
  • Assist in student’s recruitment campaign and marketing activities including programme seminars / Education Expo etc
  • Handle media relations and monitor the publicity records of the School
  • Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • With work location mainly at the School’s Chai Wan Campus (at Youth Square)


Requirements:

  • Degree holder, majoring in Art / Visual Culture / Marketing / Communication or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in art, tertiary education sector, marketing
  • Passion in art education with basic knowledge of local tertiary education system
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Proficient / Knowledge in Adobe or Design / Video Editing applications such as Photoshop and AI, HTML, and CMS (Content Management System) / Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effect is a plus
  • Good team player with pleasant and out-going personality
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, independent and have strong sense of responsibility
  • Immediate available preferred

The appointment is on one-year term, and is to be renewed subject to mutual agreements and operational needs.

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Administrative Officer.

1. Work as receptionist and shop keeper in the Artshop
2. Handle customer enquiries and provide information for visitors
3. Maintain smooth daily operation of the shop
4. Perform sales transaction and inventory management


Requirements:

  1. Holder of HKDSE or above with relevant working experience in customer service, previous experience in working as lobby receptionist, retail shop or cashier is a definite advantage
  2. Outgoing, tactful, and have a friendly and helpful personality
  3. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and CWP
  4. Ability to work independently, flexibly and under pressure
  5. Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  6. Need to work on weekends and public holidays, shift duty may be required.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide ushering and front of house service in theatres, assist in house rules and regulations enforcement.
2. Perform effective communication with patrons, guests and venue hirers.
3. Assist in crowd control to ensure smooth running of events and activities.
4. Handle enquiries and provide high standard of customer services for venue visitors
5. Assist in facilities management for maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all venue users.
6. Update signage / poster/ publicity material for the public in the premises.
7. Assist with other functions as instructed by Duty Manager.


Requirements:

1. Holder of HKDSE or above with relevant experience in customer services is an advantage.
2. Pleasant, energetic, extrovert and willing to help customers.
3. Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
4. Required to work on weekdays’ evenings as well as in weekends and public holidays.
