Job Title Project Officer (Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards) (IFVA) Ref: [PO (IFVA)]
Job Description [Position open at Hong Kong Arts Centre]

Responsibilities:
• To assist the IFVA Director in promoting short film and creative media programmes in the community
• To help organize the ifva festival and related activities
• To assist in handling the arts administration work
• To co-ordinate with external business parties including government bodies and other art affiliates
• Ad-hoc projects assigned by IFVA Director

\"\"Requirements:
• Degree holders preferably in Fine Arts and Media Arts
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferably with marketing experience and/or event management
• Knowledge in public art and community art preferable
• Good interpersonal skills, well-organized and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English and knowledge in Putonghua is preferable
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Salary offered will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. • To administer award-bearing programmes, short courses and other School projects
• To handle programme / course enquiries
• To provide operational support to School functions and events

• Degree Holder (fresh graduates may also be considered)
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in PC operation
• Detail-oriented, proactive, independent and have strong sense of responsibility
• Interest in art or relevant experience in art-related or tertiary education field will be an advantage

The appointment is on one-year term, and is to be renewed subject to mutual agreements and operational needs.

Job Title Hong Kong School Drama Festival 2010/11 Adjudicators (Ref: HKSDF1011-ADJ)
Job Description The Education Bureau (EDB) has commissioned Hong Kong Art School to organize the Hong Kong School Drama Festival (HKSDF) in 2010 / 11 (Education Bureau Circular Memorandum No. 141/2010). The aim of this Festival is to encourage primary and secondary schools to develop drama as a regular co-curricular activity.

We invite qualified parties to be adjudicators of the Festival in one or more of the three categories: Cantonese, English and Putonghua. Adjudications will take place from 14 February to 11 March 2011. Candidates should be available for at least 20 timeslots (AM slot: 9am – 12nn; PM slot: 2pm - 5pm) during the aforesaid period.

\"\"Requirements:
- Experience in theatre and/or drama education (3 years or above)
- Previous experience in the adjudicating work of the HKSDF will be an advantage
