Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Work as receptionist and shop keeper in the Artshop
2. Handle customer enquiries and provide information for visitors
3. Maintain smooth daily operation of the shop
4. Perform sales transaction and inventory management


Requirements:

  1. Holder of HKDSE or above with relevant working experience in customer service, previous experience in working as lobby receptionist, retail shop or cashier is a definite advantage
  2. Outgoing, tactful, and have a friendly and helpful personality
  3. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and CWP
  4. Ability to work independently, flexibly and under pressure
  5. Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  6. Need to work on weekends and public holidays, shift duty may be required.

Job Title Venue Operation Officer (Comix Home Base) [Ref: VOOCHB]/ Assistant Venue Operation Officer (Comix Home Base) [Ref: AVOOCHB]
Job Description The Officers will be responsible for performing the frontline operations of Comix Home Base (CHB) under the supervision of the Programme and Operation Manager and its obligations include:

Major Responsibilities:
•    Provide services and informative supports for hirers in CHB
•    Perform venue and administrative operation
•    Handle docent tour service at CHB
•    Assist in programme operation with teammates and other organizations
•    Liaise with other departments and tenants and coordinate to provide the required services
•    Answer CHB email enquiries
•    Provide administrative and clerical supports on CHB programmes

Requirements:
•    Minimum F.6 graduated and tertiary educated is preferred
•    With at least 1-2 years solid experience of customer services
•    Passionate in customer services work
•    Pleasant, proactive and customer-oriented with good manners
•    Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin is highly preferable
•    Hands-on experience of MS Office application
•    Good telephone manner and good communication skills
•    Work on shift; 5 days per week including public holidays
•    Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Venue Operation Officer.

Job Title Technical Officer (Contact-based) (Ref: CHBTO)
Job Description The Technical Officer will be responsible for providing technical support for comics and animation exhibition and programmes to be held by Hong Kong Arts Centre & Comix Home Base ("CHB") under the supervision of the Programme and Operation Manager.

Major Responsibilities:

1. To provide effective, professional technical service and support for the programmes, e.g. exhibition, screening, performance, talk, workshop, opening event, etc
2. To examine the programme arrangement in order to ensure safety and security of exhibits and visitors of programmes
3. To monitor and maintain presentable, respectable venue condition
4. To support venue design, production, setup and dismantle, etc; and
5. To coordinate with presenter, contrctor, logistic company and other related parties

 Requirements:

1. Form 6 graduate or above, preferably with working experience in the field
2. Knowledge and experience in exhibition installation and production work
3. Mature, pleasant, helpful, good customer servicing skills
4. Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently
5. Adequate spoken and written language skills in Cantonese and English
6. Proficiency in Photoshop / Illustrator / Video Editing software will be an advantage; and
7. Work on shift; including public holidays

Job Title Programme Officer (Comix Home Base) (Ref: CHBPO)
Job Description The Officer will be responsible for organising events, activities, programmes to be carried out within the Comix Home Base (“CHB”) under the supervision of the Programme and Operation Manager. The Officer will also manage the day-to-day operation with the tenants and non-anchor operators/participating organisations for optimal use of the CHB and its obligations include:

Major Responsibilities:

1.    Organising screenings, talks, workshops, etc to support the CHB programmes and projects
2.    Manage the daily operation of the Comix Salon (e.g. cataloging, book shelving, secruity control, etc)
3.    Assist visitors in using facilities and resources in the Comix Salon
4.    Handle donations, resources collection and administrative tasks in the Comix Salon
5.    Work with the CHB team to arrange for featured collection or display associated with ongoing or future exhibitions and events
6.    Assisting in implementing CHB programmes and projects efficiently and effectively
7.    Managing CHB programmes and projects in such a manner that helps to enhance arts appreciation and to strengthen the audience base for CHB
8.    Assisting to prepare project proposals; and
9.    Performing administrative duties

Requirements:
1. University graduate with minimum 1 year of relevant and solid experience. Knowledge in local and overseas comics and animation development will be an advantage
2. Excellent communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English. Putonghua will be an advantage
3. Able to deal with paper works and writings
4. Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently, meticulous and well organized;
5. Meticulous, responsible and organized
6. Proficiency in PC operations e.g. MS based applications, Chinese Word Processing
7. Proficiency in Video Editing, Photoshop and Illustrator software will be an advantage
8. Work on shift; including public holidays

Job Description

香港藝術學院現正誠聘下列職位:


入職要求:

  • 中學程度: 香港中學會考(五科合格優先考慮);或香港中學文憑考試(中國語文及英國語文科達二級優先考慮);或香港高級程度會考(中國語文及英國語文科合格優先考慮)。
  • 一年以上工作經驗。

工作範疇:

  • 須於學院不同校舍工作 (以柴灣筲箕灣區為主)。
  • 須輪班工作(視乎學院於夜間的校舍運作或課程安排,須於晚上 即7時至11時,及週末與週日工作)
  • 為學院預備課堂及各項活動等的器材及場地設置 ,包括設置及收拾枱凳與器材。
  • 負責處理學生的器材借還、檢查學院的各種器材及設施,包括相機、攝錄機及投影機等。
  • 為學院各部門提供運作上的支援,包括不同校舍間之文件交送、重型器材運送、校舍內一般的傢俱或器材維修等。
  • 處理學生對器材或場地設施的查詢及少量院務文書工作。


待遇:

2. Perform effective communication with patrons, guests and venue hirers.
