Job Title Assistant Administrative Officer 【(General), School Administration】 (Ref: AAO-GSA)
Job Description

Job Duties:

  • To provide counter / frontline service at the School Enrolment Office and Services Counter, including handling enquires from students, teachers and the public.
  • To assist senior teammates in maintaining the operation of the School Enrolment Office and Services Counter, and to assist with relevant venue support duties when necessary.
  • To perform clerical duties including typing, filing, and preparing statistic reports.
  • To maintain and monitor the operation of the School’s computerized student data system.
  • To take care of financial transactions in relation to student services.
  • Shift work (equalling to 5 working days per week spanning potentially from Monday to Saturday) is required with work location at the School’s Chai Wan Campus and Main Campus in Wanchai.


Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferable (Holder of Higher Diploma or equivalent in relevant disciplines with solid working experience in the area will also be considered).
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of frontline working experience at counter, reception area, or customer services.
  • Interest in art and/or with administrative and frontline working experience in the field of art or tertiary education will be an advantage.
  • Team player who is pleasant, energetic, outgoing, mature, patient, detail-oriented, and have strong interpersonal skills, good initiatives, good problem-solving skills, as well as strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in speaking English and Chinese (Cantonese and preferably also Mandarin).

Job Title Comix Home Base Ambassadors [Ref:CHBA]
Job Description

The ambassadors will be responsible for performing the frontline operations of Comix Home Base (CHB) under the supervision of the Programme and Operation Manager and its obligations include:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide services at Reception Counters
  • Handle visitors’ enquiries
  • Answer CHB telephone hotline and email enquiries
  • Handle docent tour service at CHB
  • Liaise with other departments and tenants and coordinate to provide the required services
  • Provide administrative and clerical supports on CHB programmes

 
Requirements:

  • Minimum F.6 graduated and tertiary educated is preferred
  • With at least 1-2 years solid experience of customer services
  • Passionate in customer services work
  • Pleasant, proactive and customer-oriented with good manners
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin is highly preferable
  • Hands-on experience of MS Office application
  • Good telephone manner and good communication skills
  • Work on shift; 5 days per week including public holidays

  • 為學院各部門提供運作上的支援,包括不同校舍間之文件交送、重型器材運送、校舍內一般的傢俱或器材維修等。
  • 處理學生對器材或場地設施的查詢及少量院務文書工作。


待遇:

  5. Experience in community art, mural wall or comic art project is preferable.
  6. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  7. Detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  8. Independent, self-motivated and willing to work flexible hours.

Job Title Senior Project Coordinator (Contract-based) (Ref No.: SPC)
Job Description

The main duty of the post will be responsible for organising a series of comics and animation programmes including exhibition, talks etc. to be held by Hong Kong Arts Centre & Comix Home Base (“CHB”) under the supervision of the Programme and Operation Manager.


Job duties:

  • To plan and monitor coordination, schedule and budget of the designated exhibition and related programmes;
  • To ensure coordination internally and externally to meet objectives of programmes;
  • To prepare promotion plan for the designated programmes;
  • To handle art administration work and prepare periodic reports;
  • To develop the network and constructive relationship with the participants in the licensing market; and
  • To manage the designated programmes in such a manner that helps to enhance arts appreciation and to strengthen the audience base for Hong Kong Arts Centre and Comix Home Base.


Requirements:

  • University graduate with minimum 2 years of relevant and solid experience. Knowledge in local and overseas comics and animation development will be an advantage;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English. Putonghua will be an advantage;
  • Good interpersonal skills, well-organised and able to work independently;
  • Able to work under pressure with multi-tasking ability;
  • Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently, meticulous and well organized;
  • Proficiency in PC operations e.g. MS based applications, Chinese Word Processing;
  • in Photoshop and Illustrator software; and
  • Willing to work on shift or public holidays occasionally.

Requirements:

  2. Outgoing, tactful, and have a friendly and helpful personality
