Bland Blank, a group exhibition showing newly-made works of the three young artists, Tiffany LAW, LEE Sum Yi and TOM Chung Man. The exhibition tend to scrutinise the unique “constant” state - a personal and subjective perception of time, and to seek the connection between art and everyday life. Living in a fast paced and materialised society in Hong Kong, the repetition of daily lives seems to become an unchanging constant, though they are unable to escape from the mundane regularity, the trio would rather scrutinise the state of “living”. Being an observer in the city that mingled natural and manmade elements, the artists would like to explore and extend the “constant” moment, to reconstruct imagery with the hint of daily fragments. They see oneself as a unit to measure time, the objective time framed by the society and the subjective time of the individual are then divided in the art space. The artists’ "constant" sense is being transformed into a perpetual piece of art, preserving the ephemeral aura of everyday life.
