School Facilities Assistant (Part-time, required to work at 7:00pm to 11:00pm)【Ref No: PT-SFA (NS)】


Job Duties

  • Work in different campuses (Mainly in Chai Wan and Shau Kei Wan District)
  • Work in shifts (Depends on the school operation or course schedule , will work from 7 – 11 in the evening and on weekends and Sundays)
  • Equipment and venue settings for the school to prepare for classes and activities, including setting up furniture and equipment
  • Responsible for handling student equipment and checking the various equipment and facilities of the campus, including cameras, camcorders and projectors
  • Provide operational support to all departments of the school, including the delivery of documents between campuses, transportation of heavy equipment, general furniture and maintenance of equipment in school

Requirements

  • Secondary School level; HKCEE (Preference will be given to candidates who has 5 passes); HKDSE (Preference will be given to candidates who passes in Chinese Language and English Language with level 2 or above);  HKALE A- Level (Preference will be given to candidates who passes in Chinese Language and English Language)
  • One year working experience

Project Officer (Ref: PO-Fortnight)


Job Duties

  • Coordinate and support the development of moving image programmes;
  • Implement PR and promotional strategies for audience development, prepare publicity collateral and execute media events;
  • Work with different stakeholders such as programme partners, government agencies, commercial supporters, media units and others;
  • Assist in preparation of proposals and reports;
  • Research films and film-related events; and
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • University degree holders, preferably relevant to film, media arts, creative media and cultural studies;
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field(s) of film festival, arts and culture non-profit, education projects or events organisations; recent graduates are welcome to apply;
  • With excellent organisational skills – possess the ability to be detail-oriented, to prioritise work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines;
  • With excellent interpersonal skills - ability to take responsibility, to work well as a team member and to work independently;
  • Knowledge and passion in moving images, and an interest in sharing them;
  • Good command of Cantonese and English; knowledge of Putonghua will be an advantage; and
  • Proficient in MS Office, technical knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and film/video production is a plus.

Job Duties

  • With 3-5 years working experience in art, tertiary education sector, with digital marketing and graphic design knowledge is preferred
  • Passion in art education with basic knowledge of local tertiary education system
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Proficient / Knowledge in Adobe or Design applications such as Photoshop and AI, HTML, and CMS (Content Management System) is a plus

Job Duties

Job Duties

  • Manage the artwork production for multiple sites in terms of budget, progress, and compliance with public safety regulations
  • Coordinate consultant effort in local research and compile design brief for art collective including but not limited to artist and architect
  • Support Project Manager in preparing visual materials, narratives, presentation for updates with client(s), district council and government bodies and liaison with artists, consultants and vendors
  • Formulate programming and workshop content with partners and follow through various community engagement workshops
  • Attending site walks,  project management meeting with client(s), artists,  vendors, consultants and governmental bodies

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above with 5 years of relevant experience in artwork production, artists liaison/ social studies and research/ architecture, urban planning will be considered.
  • Knowledge in the local and international contemporary art scene (fine art, sculpture, installation, design, architecture, urban planning, public art) is desirable.
  • Experience in art outreach, education and audience development are also areas of merit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop is preferred

Over the years, Hong Kong Arts Centre has offered opportunities to local and overseas university students to gain an exciting and fulfilling experience through our internship and volunteer schemes. Are you art lovers? Do you have time to spare? Join the Hong Kong Arts Centre as a volunteer! Our volunteers come from a variety backgrounds, helping with events and programmes and providing administrative support to the Hong Kong Arts Centre. They are also trained to give docent tours. Volunteers can participate in various types of service, depending on their knowledge, interest and availability. No previous experience is required. Let us know your availability.
