Based on seven years of archival research, this exhibition offers a focused retrospective on Hong Kong architect and cultural pioneer Tao Ho (1936–2019). Trained under Bauhaus masters at Harvard University, Tao Ho navigated architecture, art, and philosophy, utilizing his concept of "Order in Chaos" to translate Hong Kong's urban hybridity into a distinct design language.

This exhibition not only showcases his works and unfinished visions for the city, it also highlights the generative power of historical archives by juxtaposing original manuscripts with contemporary reinterpretations, including architectural models of his signature works, an inspired animation piece, and a newly fabricated carpet recreating the Arts Centre's iconic red-to-blue gradient staircase, produced by its original maker, Tai Ping Carpets. By re-examining Ho's archived legacy, this exhibition demonstrates how historical blueprints continue to catalyze modern creative dialogue.
